I saw one of these towing a trailer once. It was a small trailer.

A friendly reminder that one of these bad boys could be equipped with a towing package rated for up to 7000LBS!!!!!!!
Think about that for a second - you could tow a trailered sports car with spare parts and tools in a cadillac. I consider this to be the ultimate in road tripping - you are in a MOTHERFUCKING CADILLAC BOAT (it was bigger than the buick and chevy) and you can tow pretty much any sports car you want. So you get to your favorite road(s) or track(s), roll it off the trailer, hoon to your heart's content and if it goes wrong, you put it back on the trailer and drive home in your CADILLAC BOAT.
Fuck the escalade, I want a Fleetwood.

Non-S mini coopers come in to my work all the time with trailer hitches. I can only imagine the towing power of a 1.6L NA 4 cylinder.

You should remove the jump after that first sentence to include the "think about it" so the folks on oppo will be lured in when they see it in the shared post. Also this:

You Americans and your obsession with towing small trailers with the most absurdly huge vehicles. I recently saw a VW Golf convertible tow a trailer, on the highway. The trailer was smaller than the car, and it seemed to work just fine. On the same trip I saw a Mercedes E-Class with a horse trailer, which is a common sight here. Most vehicles are capable of safely towing roughly their own weight. You only need a truck for the really heavy loads.
